Preamble

Canada is a multicultural society, a society made up of people from all corners of Earth, indigenous people and people who have migrated to Canada from all continents and islands of  the world.  Canada is a society made up of people of all colours, races, religions and cultures living together largely in harmony.  Canada is a microscopic example of how all people of earth can live in harmony in the macroscopic world.

 

Canadians are a society well placed to lead our World, our Home, into the future: A future where every individual on Earth enjoys Liberty, Equality and Fraternity not just within their national borders but across the world.

One World Party Canada Vision & Mission

The Vision is of a unified world led by a democratically elected World Government.  A world with Liberty, Equality and Fraternity for all people.

The Mission:

1. To form a new political party under the Canada Elections Act, a new political party to participate in Canadian politics to bring better, more responsible government to Canada and
   
   
2. in collaboration with other similar parties worldwide bring better government across the world.

Where does Canada stand on the Arab Revolution?

There is a revolution going on in the Arab world.  People of Tunisia & Egypt have overthrown their dictactors.  The bloody revolution continues in Syria, Libya & Yemen with hundreds of people laying down their lives for freedom.

Where does Canada stand on all of this?  Do these lives matter or do lives matter only after individuals have immigrated into Canada?

Canada has contributed a few aircraft in support of the no fly zone over Libya and basks in the appointment of our Lt.-Gen. Charles Bouchard to command the NATO mission in Libya.  Otherwise Canada is on the sidelines leaving the leadership to other countries.  Is this the best Canada can do?  Is this acceptable to us Canadians?

As we approach the 2011 national elections the silence on this issue by all political parties is deafening!  Where is Canada on the World stage?  Do we care?

One World Government

Regardless of our physical appearance, nationality, religion or culture we are all one people.  What we lack is a world government that is democratically elected and representative of every single person on earth regardless of physical attributes, religious beliefs or cultural values. A World Government that will truly represent all people of Earth and preserve our common interests.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon criticises G8 climate efforts

Today in a world that you, me and our progeny continue to populate, 8 leading developed countries (G8) and 5 leading developing countries (G5) agreed that global temperatures should not rise more than 2 degrees Celsius above 1900 levels.  The G8 agreed to themselves reduce emissions 80% by 2050 and tried to persuade the G5 developing countries to reduce their emissions by 50%.  The leaders of the G5 agreed to the 2 degrees Celsius objective but did not agree to the 50% reduction in their emissions.

New role for the G-20

In late september 2009 at a meeting of G-20 countries in Pittsburgh the leaders of these nations determined that the G-20 will permanently replace the G-8 as the "permanent council for international economic cooperation."
